HOUSE LEAGUE REGISTRATION IS NOW LIVE!
Halton Hawks House League is a recreational program designed to allow girls of any skill level to learn, develop, and enjoy playing the game of softball. Prior experience is not required at any level in our house league programs. Our House League program includes divisions for girls from age four through sixteen years of age. Registration opens in mid-January with play beginning in May.
What equipment is included?
Uniform shirt and pants are included in registration fee. Each team is provided the following equipment that is shared between players catching equipment (shin pads, chest protector and face mask) and pitching masks.
What equipment will I need to purchase?
Players are required to supply their own baseball glove and helmet with a face cage. Cleats are not required but recommended.
What happens on holidays in the summer?
No fastpitch practice or games on statutory holidays.
When and where might my daughter’s team play and practice?
All games and practices start at 6:30pm, with the exception of the Bantam division which plays at 8:30pm at the lighted diamonds. Our U8 and U10 divisions will interlock with Milton Girls Softball, meaning that some games will be scheduled in Milton as well as Georgetown. Our U12, U14 and U16 teams will be involved in the Halton Girls Softball League and there will be travel between Oakville and Burlington.
Tentative game schedules for the 2018 season are:
◾U6 Learn To Play for girls born in 2012-2015: Thursday evenings from May to July.
◾U8 Minor Mite for girls born in 2010-2011: Monday and Tuesday evenings from May to July
◾U10 Mite for girls born in 2008-2009: Monday and Wednesday evenings from May to September
◾U12 Squirt for girls born in 2006-2007: Tuesday evenings from May to August
◾U14 Novice for girls born in 2004-2005: Thursday evenings from May to August
◾U16 Bantam for girls born in 2002-2003: Thursday evenings from May to August
